Integral Eye Movement Therapy
A different approach to change.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is an amazing modality ( technique that I incorporate into some clients coaching sessions. Supporting  your ability to create lasting change. This technique is therapeutic in nature, without being full therapy. As a coach taking an holistic approach, IEMT supports us to explore the bigger picture of an issue/problem to stops you create the change or reaching the goal you want.

You are not required to go into lots of detail about your issue/problem.  The session will explore some key questions that help us to identify the core elements to change. As an advanced practitioner of IEMT I facilitate the process, to help you change the way you think, feel and behave. Shifting issues that come up in your beliefs about who you are. Or aspects of your identity that leave you feeling stuck.

If you are completing other therapeutic sessions, please disclose this on our discovery call or as part of your client registration form. To ensure coaching is the right approach for you currently. BOOK YOUR DISCOVERY CALL TODAY

A little bit more information:

Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT) is based on the neurological phenomena of "coding" that occurs when the eyes access specific points. Consider your mind as a library, with archived experiences.

Sometimes these memories and experiences in the " archive" have significant "stories" or "Feelings" attached to them. Their association may feel negative or problematic to you, when recalled at a conscious or subconscious level. (at a subconscious level, imagine it being like leaving these tabs open on your desktop. You may not be looking directly at the "page" or "Memory" but the " programme" is still running in the background).  Through eye movement your mind can access specific cues, or parts of the archive.

"Emotional imprinting occurs when a person lays down a new kinaesthetic response to an experience. This teaches the person how to feel about certain things. For example, how many of us when told by the boss that he'd "like a word" in his office immediately feel like a schoolchild about to be told off. This is an emotional imprint in action.

IEMT addresses and resolves the question, "how did this person learn to feel the way they feel about the things that they feel bad about?" (Source: integraleyemovementtherapy.com)

IEMT is not the same as EMDR, you can read more about the differences here
